SciCat

SciCat, the scientific metadata catalogue, has come a long way since its inception. The supporting community continue its effort in improving it. Paving the road for a useful and successful tool, we are looking to collect valuable user’s feedback and intrigue new contributors to join the project. This event is directed to new users, scientists, early and late adopter, site admins and facilities management representative alike. The objective is to help interested parties to better understand SciCat and leverage its features to increase their data’s value and FAIRness.

The morning will be dedicated to introducing the project, relevant concepts, available features and the current roadmap. The afternoon will provide the chance to develop some hands-on experience leveraging the SciCatLive project. The intent of the afternoon is to get interested parties familiar with the platform, its configuration, the code base and how to contribute back in to the project.
