  Republic)\n\n\nThe Modular Multiscale Approach (MMA) to high‑harmonic g
 eneration (HHG) in gases is an open‑source\, user‑friendly framework t
 hat treats HHG at full dimensionality: linking the non-linear laser-pulse 
 propagation\, microscopic response\, and finally aggregates the microscopi
 c emitters to form a macroscopic XUV signal. In its first release\, it lim
 its to cylindrical geometry for the driving laser\, and the microscopic re
 sponse is treated in 1D. A shared interface is designed to enable intercha
 ngeable models at each stage\; for example\, the numerically costly micros
 copic response can be replaced by the strong‑field approximation. An ove
 rview of the framework\, the roadmap and broader perspective\, and modules
  in development is presented.\n\n\n \n\n\nComplementary to this overview\
 , several recent works arising from the code suite are presented: a fundam
 ental study of the ionisation process\, XUV wavefront control on thin targ
 ets\, phase‑matching optimisation in pre‑ionised media\, and asymmetry
